Ing. David Šariský, PhD. after graduating from the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology at the Slovak Technical University, I was employed in Chemosvit Foil Ltd. in Svit. I work as manager of the technology and innovation department. The company is engaged in the development and production of flexible packaging materials, which are mainly used for packaging in the food and hygiene industry.

The main projects I deal with are the design of foil packaging. In order to be suitable for production and for inclusion in the circular economy, they must meet parameters such as: recyclability, reuse and reduction in energy consumption in film production.

Another major project is the development and production of biodegradable film, on which I cooperate with the team of prof. Alexy from the Slovak University of Technology. The aim is to produce a biodegradable film with the required technical and technological parameters.

An inseparable part of me is the “family project”, to which I try to spend my free time. I am also a passionate devotee of “couch” sports.
