Research plan is directed to the area of chemical processing of wood within circular bioeconomy.
Specifically from the properties of the plant (ligno-cellulosic material), whether the plant itself from the point of view of its chemical composition or the conditions affecting its growth – soil, soil water, moisture or nutrients in the soil, etc. up to its use in the field of chemical processing of wood and biomaterials. The production of new film-forming substances made from waste or other natural substances (glues, resins, paints, modifiers) and paper production including the production of packaging is related to the field of biomaterials usage.
The main scientific goal is the creation of new paper products, chipboards or so-called biogels for the purpose of recycling waste and returning the raw material back into circulation with added value (e.g. increasing the mechanical, fire-fighting properties and at the same time reducing the toxicity of the produced materials).
