Sanja Mahović Poljaček is employed at University of Zagreb Faculty of Graphic Arts as an associate professor. Her area of interest is focused on research in the field of graphic technology, specifically on the research, production and characterization of printing plates for different printing techniques. She received her PhD in 2007 in the area of offset printing plates, and in the last ten years her subject of interest has been directed at research of polymeric materials for the production of flexographic printing plates. The possibility of approaching this area from an ecological point of view is of particular interest to her, and in the last few years she has focused her research on the application of biodegradable polymeric materials that could be used in the production of relief printing plates.
